Mitch Blum is a Boston-based marketing guy, voice-over actor, podcaster and writer. He also like snack cakes. You can learn all about his various projects here:
Obviously the advertising and marketing business is exactly like it’s portrayed on popular TV shows like Melrose Place and Mad Men. Think of me as a cross between Amanda Woodward and Don Draper, except I’m an account/strategy guy, I don’t wear fedoras and I’ve never stolen Daphne Zuniga’s boyfriend. On the plus side, I don’t (usually) drink during the day and I’m full of innovative ideas. You can read my resume if you want to learn more about my life in marketing.
If you’ve got a project that needs a great voice, please check out my voice-over page, including my commercial demo and samples from a selection of the many TV and radio spots that I’ve voiced over the years. I’m also equipped with a full studio in my home, so I can quickly produce broadcast-quality audio for you and your clients.
My good friend C.J. Kaplan and I wrote a hilarious book called Jews Clues that I’d love for you to buy and/or read. Additionally, I’ve written scores of humor essays, music reviews, and pieces about sports and yoga over the years, so you might want to check out my greatest hits or dip into the archives if you’re looking for some mild entertainment.
The future of broadcasting is happening right now, inside your computer and on your iPod. Check out my podcast page to learn more about this exciting creative frontier.
Now that we’re friends, please feel free to send me an e-mail if you’d like to talk more about any of the aforementioned subjects. Thanks for visiting!
